She holds multiple academic degrees including B.A. and M.A. in English, MCM, and B.Ed., along with certifications from prestigious institutions like IDP for IELTS coaching.

Her career began as a lecturer, teaching in reputed colleges and academies such as Mahaveer Polytechnic College, Spectrum Academy, and Bhonsala Military College. In 2017, driven by her vision to create a dedicated platform for English learning and international education, she founded English Learning Academy & Study Abroad Consultancy in Nashik.

Professor Somthankar’s expertise is not limited to teaching. She has successfully guided more than 30 students in securing admissions to renowned universities across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Her track record includes helping students win scholarships, clear visa interviews, and adapt to international academic life.

She is also an author—the book “Speak English with ELA”, available on Amazon and Flipkart, is a practical guide for improving spoken English and personality development. She is currently working on her second book. Additionally, she runs a YouTube and Podcast channel under the same name, where she shares tips on communication skills, personality growth, and study abroad preparation.
